Good morning everyone, today is February 4 2021. I hope everyone is enjoying the gift Mother Nature has bestowed upon us. Yesterday I ventured out and it really wasn’t bad kind of enjoyable. A little walk from store to store was invigorating. I think somewhere along the line I forgot the beauty of the snow. On line I see pictures of all my kids playing in the snow. I consider everyone I ever taught , directed and somehow had contact with me my kids I’m happy to see that , and I will give advice to anyone. My family says mind your bbbusiness no one needs you telling them what to do, but that doesn’t stop me, I even tell people in the stores new ways to cook something. But my advice is well founded and given with love and caring . When I se my kids I tell them as I tell Amanda, Ronnie and Justin enjoy every minute you can with them their children because in a flash of time that time is gone and everyone is grown before you know it. Now today uncle Justin is taking Rocco sliegh riding so we started to prepare when I said Rocco you need to wear your boots he said no bebop they hurt my feet. That was all I needed to hear in a half hour I was back with the best snow boots I ever saw they have a million ways to keep your feet warm and Dario has new Ugg’s, it’s so funny to see him walk he is just learning and with the Ugg’s he’s like a new colt.
I come from 2men that were crazy about shoes and feet now I joined the ranks of my father and father in law, if they saw you barefooted they went nuts. Don’t ever tell me your feet hurt because of a shoe immediately I will replace it. That’s why Dario has the Ugg’s he pulls off every shoe and sock and is barefooted. Well now I think I outsmarted him the Ugg’s are high with a button lets see him get out of these.
A funny story when my mother in law passed away, Marylou wanted to have the repast at our home. We had recently hired someone from Nigeria to watch Justin and Amanda , that day she was there to help. Now being from Nigeria her clothes reflected that. At one point during the day my father said I need to talk to you. I figured this had to be something stupid he never made it a point to want to talk to me alone. When I met up with him he said do you know this girl Vickie I explained who she was and why she was there. His main concern was did I realize she was walking barefooted with all the strange people in the house and that was not good. I should explain to her that wearing shoes was important. The day ended and a few weeks later he asked me did you take care of that. Finally I just said yes, even I was not going to try and change someone’s cultural dress .
Enjoy your day if you venture out be carful and dress appropriately. Wear shoes ha, ha. But seriously watch out, remember to find something enjoyable today. Til Tomorrow!
